Technical Project Manager

About the position

Infosys is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master with a strong experience in Automotive Domain who can assign and delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring the team's work aligns with priorities and the overall schedule and ensuring the team is fully deployed. The chosen candidate will assist in facilitating development team's use of the Scrum framework by guiding them through Agile practices, removing impediments, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, ultimately aiming to create a high-performing team by fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the project. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Responsibilities

• Assign and delegate tasks appropriately to ensure team alignment with priorities and schedules.
• Facilitate the development team's use of the Scrum framework and guide them through Agile practices.
• Remove impediments and coach team members to ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
• Research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, Texas or be willing to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Core competencies in backlog management, sprint planning, and facilitation.
• Hands-on experience in managing SAP BW for HANA, Denodo, and Databricks.
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in different contexts.
• Ability to foster collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements and overseeing technical aspects of BI projects.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Scrum practices to enhance team productivity.
• Scrum Master certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
