About the position

The Technical Project Manager role is part of a global organization that delivers impact to multiple businesses within Philips. This position is crucial for managing all project activities in compliance with the defined MLD process, driving high-impact, complex transfer projects that enable Philips to reduce risk, improve profitability, align with Philips' strategic supply base, and optimize supply chain flexibility. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will perform project management roles for the STET leadership to ensure data integrity and other PMO activities. In this role, you will support the business case development for MLD projects and drive processes to deliver the right outcomes for stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying risks and managing them with appropriate mitigation actions. The Technical Project Manager will develop, communicate, and manage detailed project schedules that support higher-level program schedules, ensuring effective communication within STET and BU cross-functionally. You will ensure the achievement of all MLD targets for the projects at milestones, including supplier support, cost, on-time delivery of materials, quality, and qualification of parts, processes, and equipment. Your responsibilities will also include gathering project requirements for project scoping and investments, working with R&D, OMM, and Procurement Engineering to define requirements, ensuring key component release and parts approval, and monitoring/analyzing to ensure the accuracy of multi-tier BOMs. You will manage E2E project execution as assigned by the functional manager, leveraging your deep experience with project management and strong project management skills. This role requires experience with global cross-functional team management, a broad business perspective, knowledge of supply management strategies and tools, and the proven ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels. You will thrive in a complex/global environment and be results-oriented with a strong bias for action, capable of leading teams and influencing cross-functional relationships.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in high-tech with a focus on supply chain and/or procurement related function
  • Deep experience with project management
