About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at Netsmart, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing various projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget constraints. This role requires a proactive approach to managing project activities, information, and resources effectively. You will independently manage project activities while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Your accountability will extend to moderately complex project governance, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. In this position, you will be responsible for business stakeholder communications, which includes the escalation and resolution of issues and risks that may arise during the project lifecycle. You will also be tasked with meeting financial objectives by forecasting project requirements, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, you will manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that all modifications are documented and communicated effectively. A key aspect of your role will be to identify, recommend, and support additional sales opportunities that may arise from your project engagements. This will require a keen understanding of client needs and the ability to propose solutions that align with their objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4-years relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years project management experience
  • Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
  • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Project Management Professional certification (or similar project management certification)
