About the position

The Technical Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various technical projects within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles, data management, and cloud technologies, particularly those offered by Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that all aspects of the project are well-planned and executed. In addition to project planning, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for data management and storage solutions. This includes a comprehensive understanding of various data storage options available in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage. The candidate will design data storage systems that are scalable, high-performing, and cost-effective, meeting the organization's requirements. The role also involves developing and implementing data integration processes, frequently utilizing Azure Data Factory for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations. The Technical Project Manager will ensure that data is efficiently cleaned, transformed, and loaded into data warehouses or data lakes. Furthermore, the candidate will leverage big data technologies like Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to handle and analyze large volumes of data, creating data processing workflows and pipelines to support analytics and machine learning applications. Collaboration with a DevOps team is essential, particularly in developing complex Power BI solutions, which includes creating visuals and applications, as well as setting up data pipelines between Microsoft Azure Services and Power BI. The ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation is also a key requirement for this role. Strong soft skills, including excellent written and verbal communication in English, are necessary, as the candidate will need to work independently with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a DevOps squad on complex Power BI solutions.
  • Create required technical documentation using Word.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in project management and data management.
