About the position

CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with expertise in data center deployment. This role involves leading multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center infrastructure and strong project management skills, with the flexibility to work remotely and travel up to 50% to various project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous data center deployment projects, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all project phases are adequately staffed and equipped.
  • Identify potential project risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed constraints.
  • Ensure that all data center deployments meet technical and quality standards, including compliance with industry best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents and regular progress reports.
  • Provide technical guidance in collaboration with experts on best practices for data center design and deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Travel to data center locations to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in data center deployment or infrastructure project implementation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, or similar).
