The Project Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that projects are effectively created and managed to address internal business challenges and enhance guest experiences. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, emphasizing organization, curiosity, and facilitation skills. The Project Manager is responsible for assembling the right team members at the right time to tackle problems, while also managing risks and dependencies to optimize team performance and deliver value promptly. The role encompasses a variety of delivery methodologies, including waterfall, Kanban, and scrum, allowing for flexibility in project execution. In this position, the Project Manager will plan, manage, monitor, and ultimately close or hand over large projects that have complex scopes, multiple work streams, and interdependencies. This includes effectively managing and reporting on risks and mitigation strategies, as well as overseeing project scope, budget, and timelines. Building strong relationships and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as cross-functional teams, is essential to ensure that solutions align with timelines and business objectives. The Project Manager will ensure that all project and program tasks are clearly understood, assigned, and tracked, completing all necessary project documentation in accordance with the PMO process. Additionally, the role involves engaging in discussions and communicating ideas aimed at continuously improving PMO processes, fostering a positive and constructive attitude, and encouraging this mindset in others. The ability to manage projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments is a key requirement for this role.
