About the position

The Technical Project Manager at SilverTech, Inc. is responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive project plans to ensure successful outcomes in web technology projects. This role requires excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills to lead effective teams through all project phases, from strategy to quality assurance. The manager will oversee project budgets, timelines, and scope while facilitating collaboration across teams and ensuring alignment with client goals.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for complex website development projects.
• Translate client goals into actionable plans and execute SilverTech services accordingly.
• Work closely with teams through all project phases, including strategy, design, development, content, and QA.
• Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration across teams.
• Monitor project scope to prevent scope creep and manage changes in requirements with clients.
• Manage project budgets and provide accurate forecasts of resources and costs.
• Track timelines to ensure project milestones are met and identify potential delays or roadblocks.
• Oversee a team of developers/engineers regarding their project responsibilities and schedules.
• Develop Levels of Effort (LOEs) with input from subject matter experts and core team members.
• Identify risks early in the project and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Review completed projects and internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Understand SilverTech capabilities and align them with client needs.
• Deliver regular status updates and burndown reports.
• Work with the Digital Traffic Manager to create resourcing plans for projects.
• Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or similar or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience in complex web technology projects in an Agency environment.
• Experience using both waterfall and agile Project Management methodologies.
• Proficiency with PM software, DevOps, SmartSheet, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a direct, external client-facing role.
• Proven ability to work independently and with internal teams such as sales, engineering, design, and strategy.
• Knowledge of cross-departmental roles and contributions for web projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively on development work and project fundamentals.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of visual design, back-end development, and hosting components of web projects.
