About the position

Shift4 is expanding globally and is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a robust background in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to oversee the prioritization and scheduling of our Integrations team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile development, be proficient in using JIRA, and have prior experience as a Scrum Master. This role requires working knowledge and technical experience with MuleSoft or other integration software and API-led connectivity, which is highly regarded. In this position, you will lead and coordinate the prioritization, planning, and scheduling of projects across the Integrations team. You will act as a Scrum Master, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Your responsibilities will include managing and helping to resolve roadblocks identified by the scrum team while embodying the principles of servant leadership. You will need to understand and convey information regarding a variety of technologies that will be integrated throughout the enterprise using MuleSoft. Consistent interaction with the Integration Development team will be essential to assist in delivering quality integrations in a timely manner. You will ensure that teams maximize efficiency and quality by aligning Agile practices with project goals and company objectives. Utilizing JIRA for effective project tracking, including task assignments, backlog management, and sprint progress updates, will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with product owners and stakeholders to refine the project backlog and define sprint goals is also crucial. You will manage cross-functional communication to ensure transparency and alignment on project status, risks, and delivery timelines. Additionally, you will serve as an Agile coach within the teams to foster an environment of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, assisting with the integration of Legacy systems, Salesforce CRM, Oracle ERP systems, and databases as they pertain to MuleSoft's data handling and workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the prioritization, planning, and scheduling of projects across the Integrations team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• 3-5 years of experience with JIRA for managing Agile workflows and reporting.
• Prior role(s) demonstrating successful management of large, complex technical projects, especially in integrations with a variety of systems and platforms, including data management.
• 2-5 years of experience with MuleSoft (or another applicable Integration software), Databases, Salesforce CRM and ERP platforms.
• Previous experience as a Database Developer or Integration Developer is desired due to the technical nature of this position.
• SQL Skills of any level are helpful.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with API-led connectivity.
• Familiarity with other integration software beyond MuleSoft.
