About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to agreed-upon scope, deadlines, and budgets. This role involves coordinating efforts across various teams to deliver projects effectively while maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and ensure successful project delivery, particularly within the Salesforce team.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using required tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates.
  • Identify, record, document, and track risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project reviews with recommendations for future improvements.
  • Utilize best practices and tools for project execution, seeking improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in technical project management at varying levels of complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive status reports.
  • Hands-on experience with various project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Skills with MS Office Products including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management certifications (such as PMP) preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • Salesforce certifications.
  • Insurance or Financial Industry experience.
