About the position

The Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering technology projects and solutions at Roadrunner. This role involves collaboration with technology and business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to ensure effective communication and execution of tasks, ultimately delivering value-added solutions to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Define and gain consensus on feature scope and objectives.
• Create work plans and facilitate standup and status meetings.
• Ensure continuous alignment across project team members and leaders.
• Work with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members to design business solutions using appropriate technology.
• Document business processes and requirements with the project team.
• Define, monitor, and report key project success factors.
• Provide regular updates to leadership.
• Assist in establishing and improving project management and software development methodologies, procedures, and policies.
• Coordinate with 3rd party software vendors to ensure project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience in leading large-scale software development or system implementation efforts.
• Knowledge of common Project Management and Software Development Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps).
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Atlassian Jira, or similar project tracking software.
• Ability to create reporting/dashboarding to track project status.
• Understanding of key technologies (SQL Server, Webservices, Mobile Applications, Cloud Capabilities).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
