About the position

The Technical Project Manager at WinWire is responsible for overseeing the delivery of client projects in web and mobile technology. This role involves managing customer engagements, coordinating resources, and ensuring project success through effective planning, risk management, and performance measurement throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management including scope, schedule, velocity, efficiency, and quality.
• Create and manage detailed project plans for each milestone and release.
• Resource allocation, ensuring availability and capacity management.
• Identify team members' growth and training needs.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure objectives are met.
• Plan and manage project budgets to ensure effective use of financial resources.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and apply learnings for future projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical project management or similar experience/expertise.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience executing projects in Agile methodology using the Scrum framework.
• Proficient in gap analysis and needs assessments to uncover business needs.
• Experience working with JIRA, ADO, or similar project management tools.
• Technical background with hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development technologies such as Java, React, Node.js, Angular, HTML/CSS3, SQL, or similar query languages.
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline processes, cloud infrastructure, and source code repositories.
• Strong experience in leading, facilitating, and motivating teams for small to medium IT projects.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar project management certification is a plus.
