About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Adjutant Solutions Group (ASG) is responsible for leading and coordinating project activities to ensure timely and successful completion in alignment with organizational goals. This role emphasizes strong communication, technical thinking, and leadership, requiring personal accountability in decision-making and team supervision. The position involves managing diverse stakeholder networks and maintaining project quality throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure synergy
  • Navigating across diverse networks and driving alignment between various stakeholders
  • Analyzing, planning, developing, and executing scheduled projects
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development
  • Adjusting schedules and targets as project needs or financing change
  • Managing technical or project issues and driving them to resolution
  • Being accountable for small projects or entire deliverables and providing regular status reports to management
  • Actively participating in technical meetings, documenting decisions/actions, and maintaining meeting minutes
  • Providing project schedule estimations and evaluating schedule effects of technical options

Requirements

  • Background in project management and technical fields
  • PMP certification beneficial
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485/Governmental Regulations and Medical Devices preferred
  • Understanding of regulatory and clinical context
  • Hands-on ability to work with people to achieve results under pressure
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a technical field
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, health administration, or equivalent with 5-7 years of experience in medical devices
  • 7 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or a relevant role
  • Technical decision-making and issue resolution skills
  • Team-oriented with basic knowledge of regulatory and governing agencies
  • Knowledge of Design Controls and Design/Development Process for Medical Devices
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations
  • Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and risk management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze problems, apply critical thinking, and find creative solutions
  • Capability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and practices
  • Ability to promote and train teams engaged in identified scope
  • Ability to design and develop new technical and business processes
  • Understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Understanding of schedule build and maintenance
  • Ability to sift through project information and assist with determining priorities
