About the position

The Technical Project Manager role is focused on managing projects within the fast-paced environment of Capital Markets, specifically in a major investment bank, hedge fund, or buy/sell-side institution. The position requires a blend of project management expertise and technical skills, particularly in Equity Swaps and Equity Derivatives, to drive impactful projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Desk Heads, Senior Management, compliance teams, Technology Leads, developers, and QA teams.
• Enforce project deadlines and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Draft meeting minutes, create and maintain project plans, and manage project budgets.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and document all project phases.
• Create and maintain Jira dashboards for project tracking.
• Prepare and present project status reports.
• Document process flows and system diagrams using Visio.
• Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs).

Requirements

• Experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, and Program Management.
• Solid understanding of Equity Swaps and Equity Trading Flows.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and GREP.
• Previous work experience with a major Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Buy/Sell-Side firm.
• Front Office (FO) and Middle Office (MO) experience.
• Experience managing projects in Capital Markets.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Equity Cash Trading and allocation.
• Experience with block, allocation, and matching processes.
• Understanding of Fixed Income trading.
