Our purpose is to positively impact people's lives every day in every home around the world! We work very hard to provide our consumers with high-quality, exciting 5-star products that make life easier. We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Technical Project Manager to join our connected product category team at our headquarters in Needham, MA. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will join a global team, partnering with offices in London & China. The TPM will be responsible for owning and delivering new product development on multiple projects within a franchise, on budget and to aggressive timelines. The TPM is the 'glue' within the team, aligning project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines. The technical project manager is responsible for the 'WHAT' that is being delivered, while design managers/engineers are responsible for 'HOW' this is delivered. The TPM will jointly lead product development from concept through to mass production in partnership with the engineering team, driving the 'WHY and WHEN' of the project. They will manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. The TPM will monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. They will liaise with the SharkNinja Informercial teams, owning the delivery of functioning high-quality units on time and to location. Additionally, the TPM will coordinate the development and sign-off on all tests which ensure the product meets our KPIs and develop the test setups which allow us to shoot our infomercials to demonstrate this to our consumers. Communication is key, and the TPM will proactively communicate with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements. They will set up, drive agenda, and chair global calls/communication, working with all company disciplines to align on product requirements and communicating frequent changes back to the technical teams. The TPM will distill and present key project risks, status, and decision points to cross-functional Boston teams (Marketing/Quality/PMO leads), redirecting the Engineering team based on the outcome of these conversations. Finally, the TPM will closely manage project spend, flagging risks and overspends regularly, and reporting out to finance once a month.
