About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Smartfox Solutions is responsible for leading and executing the Enterprise Data Warehouse Cloud Migration project. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse projects, ensuring successful migration of data and analytics to the Snowflake Cloud platform while engaging and training a large user base. The position demands strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to navigate both technical and business discussions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the Enterprise Data Warehouse Cloud Migration project.
• Manage the migration of existing EDW data foundation from SQL Server to Snowflake Cloud.
• Plan and execute change management to engage and train users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines to monitor progress.
• Track and monitor daily tasks and overall progress for multiple workstreams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
• Conduct alignment sessions with business partners and IT teams.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and remove blockers to ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in managing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse projects.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse, Snowflake Cloud, SQL, and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience in delivering projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead with minimal direction and handle ambiguity.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Solution Architect or Data Engineer.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
