About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our strong and steady Project Management team. In this hybrid role, you will be required to work at least 2 days per week in the West Chicago, IL office. As a Technical Project Manager, you will manage and execute marketing projects as directed by the Client and the Internal Sales and Account teams. This position is pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the quality standards expected by our clients. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Quality Control, Account Managers, and other Project Managers, to ensure seamless project execution. Your role will involve partnering with data programmers to guarantee accurate execution, which includes implementing quality checks at every stage of the production process. This collaborative approach is essential to achieving the desired outcomes for our clients. In this position, you will have the opportunity to impact audience targeting, test strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements. If successful, you may gain exposure to other clients, allowing you to make a significant impact and potentially advance to a Senior level role where you can mentor junior project managers and further develop your leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute marketing projects as directed by the Client and Internal Sales and Account teams.
  • Collaborate with the account team on audience targeting, test strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Quality Control, Account Managers, and other Project Managers to ensure project success.
  • Partner with data programmers to ensure accurate execution and implement quality checks at every stage of the production process.
  • Handle multiple large programs simultaneously, managing change and thinking critically to complete projects.
  • Negotiate, manage conflict, and create win-win solutions to challenges and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5+ years of related project management experience.
  • Experience in the marketing industry, particularly in Direct Mail, Email, and/or Digital Marketing.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business requirements as conveyed by internal or external clients.
  • Proactive, reliable, and self-directed with sound judgment to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to remain focused under pressure.
