About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at the CIA, you will lead projects and programs that deliver essential Enterprise IT capabilities to support the U.S. intelligence mission. This role involves driving technology initiatives, solving complex problems, and transforming user needs into impactful capabilities through effective project management and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, concepts of operation, architectures, and team structures.
• Tailor and apply program management and systems engineering processes.
• Lead, negotiate, and defend technical and programmatic solutions.
• Develop, manage, and defend cost, scope, performance, and schedule through delivery of initiatives, products, or systems.
• Leverage different methods to communicate status to stakeholders.
• Conduct acquisition planning and source selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or liberal arts fields.
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work within an ambiguous, evolving digital environment.
• Self-starter attitude with initiative.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Resource and risk management experience.
• Ability to plan and oversee implementation of short and long term tasks.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Technical domain understanding.
• Experience as a technical project manager.
• Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA.
