About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Decisions is responsible for overseeing and managing both internal and client-facing projects within the Customer Success and Product Engineering organizations. This role requires a strategic project-management professional who can effectively coordinate project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The position emphasizes process improvement, risk management, and quality control, all while fostering collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and facilitate Decisions Project delivery.
  • Chart and maintain a project plan, identifying and assigning project tasks.
  • Manage a cross-functional team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Assist in high-level process design and interface design.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and refinement of requirements.
  • Work with team members to remove impediments to delivery, including identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Ensure quality control for all project deliverables and activities.
  • Coordinate with department leadership to access resources needed for project completion.
  • Plan internal communication methods, providing ongoing status updates including health status, risks, schedule, and staffing needs.
  • Oversee and communicate project needs, ensuring alignment on expectations with delivery, timeline, and budget.
  • Effectively communicate internal and external blockers related to projects to relevant departments.

Requirements

  • Relevant Agile certifications (PSM, CSM, PSPO or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years technical project management experience
  • Demonstrated application of and proven success with different project management methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience with management tools, analysis, and research
  • Experience creating an effective team environment and building strong relationships
  • Negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience managing resources in a matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels
  • Experience coaching project team members

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in the healthcare and/or financial services industries
  • At least 1 year experience within an agile SDLC environment
  • Experience with PaaS/SaaS, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure
  • Project Management certification (PMP) a plus
