About the position

The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the success of projects related to Rock RMS, a leading Church Management platform. This position involves managing projects from sales through execution, coordinating with various stakeholders, and utilizing project management tools to enhance efficiency and accountability. The role is pivotal in driving the organization towards its goals while contributing to meaningful life changes through technology.

Responsibilities

• Supporting projects from sales through execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget and timeline.
• Coordinating various stakeholders and technical team members during project phases from initial development through migration, implementation, customization and support.
• Communicating proactively with all stakeholders to provide accountability, identify problems, create solutions and implement efficiency improvements.
• Anticipating resourcing for future projects in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Preventing and solving problems through critical thinking and detailed understanding of our industry, project types, team and culture.
• Utilizing Rock RMS, project management, time tracking and invoicing software fluently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with project and resource management, especially with technical teams.
• Experience with CRM or ERP software solutions.
• Trained in Six Sigma methodology.
• Familiarity with Asana and/or Harvest.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Rock RMS.
• An unusual interest in Rock lobsters.
