About the position

As an IT Technical Project Manager at SouthWest Transit, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological excellence and ensuring project success from inception to completion. This position is designed for a highly organized individual who can manage project plans, engage stakeholders effectively, and oversee resources to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with the organization's standards and goals. You will be working under the supervision of the IT Manager, leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology hardware and software project aimed at capturing, storing, and reporting on data for the agency. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing a comprehensive project plan that spans the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through to completion. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team and other stakeholders to ensure that all project milestones are met in a timely manner. Monitoring the implementation of the software project will be a key part of your role, as will identifying any project-related issues and communicating the project's status to the leadership team and other stakeholders. Your ability to navigate challenges and keep the project on track will be essential to the success of this initiative.
