About the position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO) at Aristocrat. This role involves managing complex projects that align with the strategic objectives of Aristocrat Labs (ALABs). The Technical Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring operational excellence and successful project outcomes through effective project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough project assessments, including risk analysis, resource planning, and feasibility studies.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects, including objectives, technologies, timelines, and staffing.
• Establish and implement project communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and change management strategies.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including key milestones, risks, and issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans and user manuals.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Facilitate risk and issue resolution, escalating as necessary.
• Align quality assurance processes with project deliverables to meet defined standards.
• Conduct regular quality reviews, testing, and validation to verify infrastructure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Foster effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager in a technology-driven organization.
• Demonstrated strategic mindset with a track record of aligning projects with business objectives.
• Firm grasp on product technology and software development processes.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in reporting project status, risks, issues, and resource utilization to stakeholders.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
