About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at Scientific Games, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outputs while managing project scope. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you will be the primary contact for project stakeholders and will guide your team through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines, and facilitating collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage concurrent projects and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs.
  • Perform appropriate scope management and oversee project timelines.
  • Communicate project status to sponsors, customers, and upper management.
  • Facilitate definition of project scope and objectives with the team.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and budgets.
  • Drive project deliverables and manage project meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Track and review deliverables, providing visibility to team impediments and risks.
  • Recommend actions to resolve issues and help the team achieve project goals.
  • Provide visibility to stakeholders regarding project progress and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of industry project management experience, with at least 5 years in technology project management.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Experience in delivering software, digital, and mobile solutions using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Technical experience with full SDLC on software, digital, and mobile with QA and Release Management processes.
  • Proven track record of successful project/program management of mid to large size projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
