About the position

The Technical Project Manager/Scrum Lead will oversee various projects and initiatives within the Program Management & Enabling Technologies team, focusing on the entertainment industry. This role involves leading operational and growth initiatives, managing project data, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The position requires a strong background in project management, particularly in agile methodologies, and experience with tools like Smartsheet and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and growth initiatives from end-to-end, including gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule, and resourcing for the technology team.
• Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint closing, and retrospectives.
• Manage the project data in Jira and Smartsheet.
• Manage tasks and resources through Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team including timelines, milestone tracking, budget status, and issue identification to program management and stakeholders.
• Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates.
• Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics via MS Power BI.
• Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas, and implement projects or processes to streamline and improve operations.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with analytics and resource management.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI, and Cloud-based management tools.
• Scrum Master background, working with product owners and setting priorities with features - Certification is a plus.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodology.
• 4+ years of experience managing and developing teams to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing technical operations teams (i.e., infrastructure engineers, software developers).
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.
• Excellent meeting facilitation skills and effective team player.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Entertainment Industry experience.
• Ability to create workflow drawings and process maps utilizing Visio.
• Previous experience working in a Content Production environment.
• Previous experience working in product management or delivering products and applications.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Certified Scrum Master a plus.
