About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Live Nation's Content Studio will support the Setlist.fm team, which is a global live music wiki catalog featuring over 8 million historical set lists. This role involves managing technical platform development, executing sponsorship programs, and overseeing technology vendor management. The position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure projects are completed on time and align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of the Setlist.fm product and its roadmap.
  • Manage the platform roadmap under guidance from the product team.
  • Understand technical problems and work with resources to scope, budget, design, and execute solutions.
  • Kick off development projects and keep them on track from beginning to end.
  • Maintain open communication channels and ensure stakeholders are aware of project status.
  • Execute and lead regular reporting for internal and sponsorship programs, including content and digital ad management.
  • Create and maintain process documents and trackers.
  • Own the process and communication with technical vendors, ensuring they receive needed support.
  • Support team members and vendors in meeting deadlines and delivery requirements.
  • Build processes and tools to reduce time-intensive tasks using low-code/no-code platforms.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience as a Project Manager or in a role with project management responsibilities.
  • 2-4 years experience with web technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a desire to work on meaningful products.
  • Comfortable with project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • College degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on coding experience with modern web technologies, including Javascript/ES6 and Python.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure.
  • Data and analytics experience, e.g., Google Analytics, BI dashboard tools, Pandas, Jupyter.
  • Demonstrable passion for music and technology.
