About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects related to Salesforce, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon scope, deadlines, and budgets. This role involves coordinating efforts across various teams, defining project objectives, and overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires effective communication with stakeholders and team members, as well as the ability to identify and manage risks and issues while implementing best practices for project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using required tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates.
  • Identify, document, and track risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project reviews with recommendations for future improvements.
  • Utilize best practices and tools for project execution, seeking improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management tools, such as Planview Portfolios.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive status reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management certifications (such as PMP) preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience in the Insurance or Financial Industry.
