About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee a high-visibility wide area network development program within DISA, ensuring effective project management and coordination among various contractors and government staff. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and risks while facilitating communication and collaboration across teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Support a high visibility wide area network development program in DISA.
• Provide project oversight and status reporting.
• Manage project schedules and acquisition package development.
• Coordinate project teams across multiple contractors and government staff.
• Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.
• Define project responsibilities with stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end life cycle of network projects, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Participate in budget and staff allocation for the project.
• Maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and status reports.
• Manage project risks, issues, and activity progress to ensure project goals, deadlines, scope, and quality are achieved.
• Collaborate with business and technical organizations to drive program strategy and approach.
• Participate in the Network Planning Committee to discuss network performance and needs.
• Provide solutions to network problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• Active TS clearance is required.
• Proficient with MS Office tools including Visio, Access, and MS Project for Enterprise.
• PMP certification preferred.
