About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager who is an Agile champion and has extensive experience with GitHub tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a diversified hybrid team that includes developers and Quality Engineering (QE) teams to ensure timely feature deliveries related to GitHub and GitHub Actions. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. In this position, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and budgets while also identifying and mitigating risks. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency among team members. As a Technical Project Manager, you will also be expected to facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure that the team remains focused and productive. Your expertise in tools like Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes will be essential in guiding the team through technical challenges and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience with GitHub tools and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of firewall management and security best practices.
• Familiarity with program management principles.
