The position involves managing the implementation of Managed Service Provider (MSP) security priorities, which includes overseeing infrastructure upgrades and the introduction of new technical capabilities necessary for maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards. The role requires close coordination with the Program Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), MSP partners, and government stakeholders to assess the scope, impact, and priority of required solutions. A key aspect of the job is to identify and manage project resources effectively to ensure that project timelines are met. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) to evaluate budget impacts based on the defined scope of work, resources, and technical requirements, which will be used to request program funding. The role also includes coordinating and conducting Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with project stakeholders and resources to facilitate communication and project alignment. The successful candidate will ensure that Change and Configuration Management processes are executed to document any changes to the program baseline. They will track risks, concerns, and dependencies associated with the projects, develop and maintain detailed project schedules and implementation plans, and provide regular project status updates to various program and government stakeholders. Monitoring progress and adjusting priorities as necessary will be crucial, as will measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement and conducting lessons learned sessions. The role may also involve additional program support as needed to ensure the overall success of the program.
