About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee project management activities, ensuring effective communication between business units, project teams, and stakeholders. This role emphasizes the use of PMI agile methodologies to facilitate team collaboration and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, independence, and strong communication skills while managing multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication with business units, project teams, and stakeholders regarding project requirements and solutions.
  • Manage projects utilizing PMI agile methodology, focusing on team collaboration.
  • Create organized project plans to coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Verify that analysts gather strong, customer-approved requirements.
  • Set and meet deadlines and priorities proactively, managing progress against the project plan.
  • Present project updates and proposals to peers and leadership.
  • Articulate ideas effectively in meetings and one-on-one conversations.
  • Lead project team members in executing the project management plan successfully.
  • Assess customers' current capabilities and needs, communicating this information to the project team.
  • Develop project documentation as required and provide detailed answers to questions.
  • Lead the development team through the project development phase, facilitating daily standup meetings and resolving project roadblocks.
  • Assist in managing user stories and communicate requirements clearly to business and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in IT or equivalent experience.
  • PMI Certification - PMP and/or PMI-ACP.
  • 4+ years of experience in identifying and documenting IT needs and facilitating solutions.
  • Experience with project management, project planning, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply it to business situations.
  • Strong team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
