The position involves coordinating a program to evaluate and deploy Splunk software tools, ensuring effective implementation through established Change Management processes. The role requires enabling adoption by organizing technical training for SVIC personnel on the new tools. A critical aspect of the job is to review and approve security monitoring solutions and procedures/documentation for tenants hosted on various platforms, including on-premises, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and potentially other IaaS platforms. The individual will function as a scrum master throughout the project lifecycle, engaging cross-functional teams to facilitate and ensure the adoption of SVIC monitoring tools. This includes querying data sources to confirm the availability of logs and assisting clients in addressing technical problems that may arise during solution deployment, such as host agent installation and setup in tenant environments. Additionally, the role involves creating, managing, and provisioning access to client dashboards while quickly learning on the job as SVIC tackles security solutions for IaaS platforms that may be new to the team. The individual will be responsible for bringing architectural solutions to the leadership team, soliciting feedback on recommended solutions and new product ideas through design reviews and tech talks. Clear and thorough documentation of solutions is essential, as this will be used to train other team members, including production support personnel. The position also requires managing project schedules, identifying potential issues, and communicating them effectively to project stakeholders. The individual will take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, maintaining a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
