About the position

The Technical Project Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leading and managing modernization projects within the Core Business Operations portfolio. This role involves coordinating Agile software solution teams, managing project delivery, budget, staffing, and scope, while ensuring effective communication with diverse stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of technical conversations to identify risks and dependencies, and to facilitate the successful execution of projects that transform client organizations through innovative technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of modernization projects.
  • Manage technical projects or IT implementations and understand high-level technical conversations to determine risks and dependencies.
  • Manage Modernization Agile Software Solution Teams including delivery, budget, staffing, and scope.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks internally with the Program and with client counterparts.
  • Coordinate with Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and Functional Leads to manage day-to-day delivery.
  • Coordinate, escalate/expedite cross-team dependencies and blockers to clear the path for the Scrum Teams to deliver their Sprint goals.
  • Engage with diverse technical and business stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in for strategic and tactical efforts in technical projects and process improvements.
  • Build, refine, and maintain project schedules and their dependencies.
  • Build staffing forecasts, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimations, notional schedules, and roadmaps in response to new SOWs.
  • Author and review project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in government, consulting, and/or healthcare as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Experience with large-scale modernization projects.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient experience with technologies such as Angular, Java, API MicroServices, Oracle, PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Camunda, Redhat, cloud-native technologies, AWS, Docusign, Documentum.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Previous Healthcare FDA project experience.
