About the position

The Technical Project Manager role at Deloitte involves leading modernization projects within the Core Business Operations portfolio. This position is crucial for helping clients, particularly in government and public services, to transform their organizations through innovative technologies and business models. The role requires managing Agile Software Solution Teams, coordinating project schedules, and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of Modernization projects.
  • Manage Modernization Agile Software Solution Teams including delivery, budget, staffing, and scope.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks internally with the Program and with client counterparts.
  • Coordinate with Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and Functional Leads to manage day-to-day delivery.
  • Coordinate, escalate/expedite cross-team dependencies and blockers to clear the path for the Scrum Teams to deliver their Sprint goals.
  • Engage with diverse technical and business stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in for strategic and tactical efforts in technical projects.
  • Build, refine, and maintain Project schedules and their dependencies.
  • Build staffing forecasts, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimations, notional schedules and roadmaps, implementation plans in response to new SOWs.
  • Author and review project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in government, consulting, and/or healthcare as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Experience with large scale modernization projects.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient experience with technologies such as Angular, Java, API MicroServices, Oracle, PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Camunda, Redhat, cloud native, AWS, Docusign, Documentum.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Previous Healthcare FDA project experience.
