About the position

Heartland is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee and execute projects related to mobile device solutions. This role involves planning, coordinating resources, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery within budget. The Technical Project Manager will also serve as a technical subject matter expert, particularly in infrastructure projects, and will be responsible for managing logistics, materials, and labor while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget.
  • Acquire resources and coordinate efforts of project technical leaders, team members, and third-party contractors.
  • Manage project logistics, including contracting and delivery of labor and materials.
  • Assist with project development from initiation to closure, including completing project charters.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise them as necessary.
  • Communicate expectations to team members and lead daily interactions.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience as a project management specialist and project coordinator.
  • Experience managing large-scale network projects, including design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of business systems and project management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate situations critically to prevent issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification (desired), CAPM, PMI-ACP certification.
  • Experience with construction projects, network installations, and multi-device deployments.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
