About the position

As a Technical Project Manager with Resource Data, you will play a pivotal role in scoping and delivering custom software solutions that enhance the efficiency, performance, and value of enterprise systems. You will be part of a dedicated team of technical consultants, working collaboratively to tackle some of the most challenging enterprise IT problems faced by our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and IT needs, ensuring that projects are delivered within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. In this role, you will be responsible for developing project charters, budgets, plans, and overall scopes for client-facing IT projects. You will act as a liaison between the client and internal project teams, ensuring that the delivery of defined scopes and budgets is timely and effective. Leading and directing teams of software developers, business analysts, testers, and architects will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you work to deliver successful outcomes on client projects. Additionally, you will be tasked with mitigating risks and proactively identifying and resolving project issues as they arise. Responsibilities

  • Develop project charters, budgets, plans, and overall scope for client-facing IT projects
  • Liaise between client and internal project teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of defined scopes and budget
  • Lead and direct teams of software developers, business analysts, testers, and architects to deliver on client projects
  • Mitigate risks and proactively identify and resolve project issues

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience leading custom software development and COTS projects on Agile teams
  • Proven ability to manage projects with $100k+ budgets
  • Proficiency with project management planning and reporting tools
  • Experience writing user stories and gathering technical requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ years' experience in a client-facing role
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) or alternative change management certification
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Government consulting experience a plus
