About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee complex projects in the entertainment and education sectors, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing advanced technologies such as VR to enhance project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and delivery
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets using tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Confluence
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA testers, and business analysts, to ensure project success
  • Ensure that projects meet all technical, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Use VR and other cutting-edge technologies to enhance project outcomes and deliverables

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management in the Technology industry
  • Proven experience in managing complex software development projects using Jira and MS Project
  • Experience with VR, AR and other emerging technologies is highly desired
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Technical skills and experience or knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python and/or Java
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, MS Project and Confluence
