About the position

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for the technical success of projects from pre-sales through delivery and handover to operations. This role serves as the primary interface for customer communications on technical topics and leads the technical aspects of projects across various teams. The focus is on delivering Infra platforms, particularly NCP/OCP, and supporting multi-vendor cloud technologies for major telecom providers, emphasizing quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • Technical management and control implementation of Cloud Infra projects focusing on NCP/OCP, Orchestration, and Automation platforms.
  • Manage all technical aspects/activities within the project related to infrastructure and Cloud, including requirements, architecture, development, integration, and testing.
  • Act as the primary customer interface for management aspects related to the technical solution, quickly addressing technical issues and driving resolutions.
  • Obtain formal customer sign-off on requirements and technical acceptance of solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and support the Project Turnover to Delivery process by reviewing project SOW, BOM, Solution Architecture, and expected timelines.
  • Identify Change Request opportunities and coordinate technical analysis with Solution Architects, planning and tracking execution of approved Change Requests.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technically managing and leading project deliveries for core telecom networks with a focus on Infra Cloud Platforms.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of Cloud technologies including Native Cloud, OCP, VMWare, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Outstanding track record and understanding of Nokia CNS Cloud Blueprint architecture.
  • Experience as a lead integrator or solution architect in delivering complex software systems.
  • Excellent software background with a deep understanding of software and API integration.
  • Minimum BSEE/BSCE/BSCS degree; Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience working with Integrators/Solution Architects from local and Global Delivery Centers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different working styles, cultures, and time zones.
