About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at CompassMSP, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects for clients. This position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions while meeting client requirements and project timelines. The role is part of a change program aimed at evolving centralized services to better support regional teams and enhance client success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and scope of projects to exceed expectations.
  • Handle multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously, ensuring each receives appropriate attention.
  • Coordinate project activities with clients and team leads to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Initiate projects, manage workflow, and ensure support teams are prepared for success from intake to closure.
  • Assist in managing client expectations, ensuring clarity and satisfaction throughout the project journey.
  • Oversee every detail from planning to execution to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to support teams for ongoing client success.
  • Provide regular updates to management on project progress.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with an MSP in a TruMethods operating model (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with peers and customers.
  • Self-directed and focused with strong problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Highly detail conscious with strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with remote teams.
  • Preferred system experience using ticketing systems (ConnectWise, ServiceNow, etc.).
