About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the management of resources, budgets, schedules, and project scopes for various projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between multiple teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards. The position requires effective communication and coordination across different disciplines and stakeholders, including offshore partners and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource assignment, budget, scheduling, and scope prioritization through project plans and JIRA dashboards.
• Act as the single point of contact for production and serve as the primary liaison between Product Management, Creative Development, Technology, third-party vendors, and offshore partners.
• Manage and work with cross-discipline team members to validate project assumptions and review individual project plans with senior leadership.
• Ensure all projects within the channel are staying on schedule and budget.
• Act as the primary escalation path for any production-related issues for assigned projects.
• Lead projects to on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate execution of the project across Creative Development, Production, Technology, and Business Development teams.
• Document the scope of work with help from cross-discipline functional leads.
• Validate that scope can be completed within timeline and budget.
• Develop the project plan and schedule with cross-discipline functional leads.
• Ensure every necessary step to complete the project is accounted for in the project plan.
• Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
• Ensure proactive scheduling of all aspects of project delivery.
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects from requirements through launch and project close.
• Lead and manage estimation sessions with help from functional leads.
• Manage day-to-day tasks of US-based and offshore teams, allowing for early identification of potential risks and issues.
• Manage project scope and execute internal and client change controls when additional requests for features or functionality are made.
• Review internal change control requests and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
• Escalate situations that may require executive intervention.
• Manage project risks, issues, and next steps to ensure quality delivery.
• Maintain project quality ensuring quality metrics are within thresholds.
• Ensure on-time project deliverables submission internally and to the client.
• Obtain client sign-off for all project deliverables.
• Provide weekly status reports and regular updates to internal and client leadership.
• Confidently lead, motivate, influence, and drive progress.
• Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Requirements

• Experience in project management with a focus on resource assignment, budget management, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and JIRA.
• Experience managing custom development projects using technologies like Flutter, Angular, and Java.
• Proven experience managing offshore teams and third-party vendors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to act as a liaison between various teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure situations.
