About the position

The Technical Project Manager/Coordinator will lead and manage IT Field Services projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves project planning, resource management, risk management, and effective communication with stakeholders, including high-level executives. The position requires a strong background in desktop support and IT coordination, with a focus on delivering quality service and solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT Field Services projects.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor progress against milestones and coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and optimize utilization.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
• Proactively address issues and obstacles during project execution.
• Conduct training and orientations for project resources.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of desktop support/IT technician background.
• Team Lead experience (leading a team of 6-12 technicians).
• Project Coordination/Management experience.
• Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction.
• Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with executives/high level executives.
• Customer-specific certifications or training as required.
