About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at Booz Allen, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs that align with corporate strategy. This position requires advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of the industry. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to complex problems and will work with minimal direction, showcasing your ability to lead and mentor team members effectively. Your role will involve overseeing large-scale Department of Defense (DoD) network deployments, ensuring that project teams are well-managed and that resources and deliverables are aligned with project goals. In this position, you will lead and manage project teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure successful project execution. You will also be tasked with performing process mapping and analyzing processes for efficiencies, which is crucial for optimizing project outcomes. Your ability to manage schedules and tasks for implementations, deployments, and operations will be essential in maintaining project timelines and achieving objectives. A Secret clearance is required for this role, and you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED as a minimum educational qualification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within the IT or cybersecurity sectors, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will also be expected to have experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI, as well as familiarity with project artifacts and documentation, including project plans and milestone charts. Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and possession of excellent leadership skills are also highly desirable. A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification will further enhance your candidacy for this role.

  • Ability to manage schedules and tasks for implementations, deployments, and operations.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
