About the position
The Technical Project Manager will lead complex telecommunications projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving project success. This role requires a strong background in telecom technologies and project management methodologies, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions and effective stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to scope and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design and implement scalable telecom solutions that meet business needs and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform project decisions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate collaboration and alignment.
- Establish and enforce project governance and quality assurance processes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of telecom technologies (e.g., VoIP, LTE, 5G, IP networks).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is a plus.
