About the position

The Technical Project Manager role at the CIA involves leading projects and programs to deliver key enterprise IT capabilities that support the agency's mission. This position requires a blend of project management skills, technical acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The role is critical in driving technology initiatives and transforming user needs into impactful capabilities within the Directorate of Digital Innovation (DDI).

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, concepts of operation, architectures, and team structures.
• Tailor and apply program management and systems engineering processes.
• Lead, negotiate, and defend technical and programmatic solutions.
• Develop, manage, and defend cost, scope, performance, and schedule through delivery of initiatives, products, or systems.
• Leverage different methods to communicate status to stakeholders.
• Conduct acquisition planning and source selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Liberal Arts, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences.
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience as a technical project manager.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Resource and risk management experience.
• Ability to plan and oversee implementation of tasks and ensure quality of products and services delivered.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
