About the position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and lead technical projects related to retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the retirement plan industry, with a focus on managing projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of retirement plans, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. In this position, you will collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals within the investment banking and retirement sectors. You will analyze and document complex business processes and system requirements, ensuring alignment with technological strategies. As a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams, you will effectively deliver tech solutions that meet the needs of the organization. You will lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of technology projects, managing resources and schedules. This includes defining and managing work streams and task allocations through JIRA. Conducting market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes that impact the retirement and investment banking domains will also be a key responsibility. Your knowledge of investment banking and retirement products such as 401k, IRA, and Rollovers will be essential in translating business needs into technical specifications. Additionally, you will define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. Managing and updating project plans, including integration, scope, time, quality, communications, and risk assessments, will be crucial. You will facilitate communication and provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Overseeing testing efforts, including creating test plans, test cases, and managing user acceptance testing (UAT), will also be part of your role. A strong understanding of financial products, markets, and the technology landscape within the investment banking and retirement space is required, along with strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
