About the position

The Technical Project Manager will support Special Access Programs (SAPs) for the Department of Defense (DoD) at Eglin AFB, focusing on program design, development, deployment, and sustainment. This role involves multi-discipline analysis and management support for various security-related activities, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of program security procedures and classification guidance for complex SAPs.
• Develop and monitor metrics on the completeness, progress, and status of Air Force SAP Security programs and projects.
• Brief personnel at all levels on security-related topics.
• Develop and monitor a comprehensive tracking mechanism for Air Force SAP Security project milestones.
• Provide expertise on protecting critical elements of SAPs.
• Consult with government and contractor stakeholders on project requirements and SAP security issues.

Requirements

• Five or more years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Knowledge of Defense Procurement and Acquisition processes is highly desired.
• Operational Air Force experience is desired.
• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
• Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
