About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with software development teams, managing storyboarding processes, and crafting compelling user stories. This role demands a creative storyteller who can translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives, driving alignment and understanding across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management efforts across software development initiatives within the manufacturing domain, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to gather requirements, set priorities, and translate business needs into actionable tasks.
  • Develop and manage storyboards that visually and conceptually guide product development, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Write detailed and well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria, focusing on end-user needs and business value.
  • Act as a storyteller to communicate project vision, goals, and updates effectively to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables, leveraging Agile methodologies to optimize productivity and flexibility.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ Years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and software development.
  • Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience managing software development projects.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong experience in creating and managing storyboards, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to work closely with software development teams, understanding their needs, and aligning project goals with technical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for motivating teams and driving alignment.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with cognitive computing and hyper-automation technologies.
