About the position

HTC Global Services is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build innovative solutions and advance your career while collaborating with experts in the field. As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with our clients, contributing to their success and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. You will be responsible for managing the Connected Services Program, which includes overseeing the up-time and availability of telematic solutions and their supporting applications. Your leadership will foster an environment of cooperation and collaboration among various stakeholders, including Brand, Department, Division, and Corporate management. You will coach, mentor, and develop a best-in-class development team, utilizing agile iterative development methodologies to tackle complex technical and business challenges. Reporting to senior executives, you will provide updates on project progress and the overall program. Your role will also involve creating project budgets, preparing cost estimates, and managing the program budget throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and accountability for financial performance. As a Technical Project Manager, you will exercise independent judgment in project management, prioritizing and tracking project progress. You will lead technical decisions to minimize business impacts, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) for uptime and stability are met. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with application developers, providing high-quality service to business customers, and collaborating with Product Management to define the Product Vision. You will provide technical direction to the development team, outlining stories and sprints to support the customer web portal and related architecture. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, will be crucial as you manage a cross-functional team of Developers, Analysts, DevOps, and QA resources. You will oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with program roadmap targets and Release Management processes. Your exceptional leadership and communication skills will be vital in fostering team collaboration and cultivating strong IT/Business partnerships, ultimately delivering high-quality software to targeted markets.

Responsibilities

  • Foster an environment of cooperation and collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure the up-time and availability of Connected Services telematic solutions and supporting applications.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing development team using agile methodologies.
  • Report project progress to senior executives and manage program budgets.
  • Exercise independent judgment in project management, prioritizing and tracking progress.
  • Lead technical decisions to minimize business impacts and ensure SLAs are achieved.
  • Interface with application developers for systems implementation and releases.
  • Provide high-quality service as a primary support contact for applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define the Product Vision and strategies.
  • Provide technical direction to the development team, outlining stories and sprints.
  • Manage a cross-functional team through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Track and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations to verify financial accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in project management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience in leading all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Visio, and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
