About the position

As a Technical Project Manager at Tharseo IT, you will oversee the management of people, processes, and technology to ensure successful project delivery, particularly focusing on Oracle technologies. This role involves serving as the primary contact for project organization, timeline, and technical execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring that technical deliverables meet quality standards, especially in Oracle-based environments.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with Oracle technology requirements.
  • Develop and define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility, particularly in Oracle implementations.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to project teams working with Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle ERP, and Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, matching technical skill sets to project requirements, particularly for Oracle-related tasks.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, incorporating technical milestones, dependencies, and critical path analysis for Oracle implementations.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, while maintaining technical integrity and quality, especially in Oracle-based projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, including KPIs relevant to Oracle technology implementations.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed, particularly for technical challenges related to Oracle technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams, Oracle experts, and other technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform risk management to identify, analyze, and mitigate technical risks, such as potential integration challenges or technology constraints in Oracle environments.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Oracle third parties/vendors, ensuring adherence to technical standards and project expectations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, integration plans, and testing strategies for Oracle technologies.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives for projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or a combination of prior experience and education as a substitute for the degree).
  • Proven working experience as a Technical Project Manager or a similar role in the information technology sector, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects involving Oracle technologies.
  • Expertise in implementing projects on Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, Oracle ERP, and ideally Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle tools and technologies, such as Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Fusion Middleware, or Oracle Business Intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Solid technical background, with a deep understanding of Oracle architectures, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation within Oracle environments is a plus.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex Oracle technical concepts into clear, actionable project plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple Oracle projects simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and Oracle project management tools (e.g., Oracle Primavera).
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud applications is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation specific to Oracle solutions, such as system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate) are highly desirable.
