About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee IT projects for an Executive Agency in Massachusetts, focusing on application development and compliance portal projects. This role requires managing project processes, standards, and technologies, ensuring effective communication and documentation to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities

• Manage the processes, standards, and technologies for the PMO team.
• Oversee Application Development projects related to an enterprise compliance portal.
• Report risk analysis, risk mitigation, timeline, and budget to the team.
• Ensure projects remain on track for completion.
• Facilitate high communication and organization within the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years as a Technical Project Manager working on Software Development applications.
• Scrum Master certification is preferred.
• Experience managing software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodology.
• Experience using Jira.
• Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Government industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Smartsheet and/or Power BI.
