About the position

Epsilon is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our strong and steady Project Management team. This is a hybrid role requiring at least two days per week in the West Chicago, IL office. As a Technical Project Manager, you will manage and execute marketing projects as directed by the Client and the Internal Sales and Account teams. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams, including Quality Control, Account Managers, and other Project Managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your role will involve partnering with data programmers to ensure accurate execution, including implementing quality checks at every stage of the production process. In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the account team on audience targeting, test strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements. If successful, you may gain exposure to other clients, allowing you to make a significant impact. There is also potential for career growth, as you may have the opportunity to advance to a Senior level role, where you can help mentor junior project managers and further develop your leadership skills. To excel in this role, you must be able to understand and articulate business requirements as conveyed by internal or external clients. You should be reliable, self-directed, and capable of using sound judgment to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines. Proactivity, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage conflict are essential, as is the capacity to work on multiple large programs simultaneously while managing change and thinking critically to complete projects. You will need to prioritize work effectively and shift priorities as needed to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones. Problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute marketing projects as directed by the Client and Internal Sales and Account teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Quality Control, Account Managers, and other Project Managers.
  • Partner with data programmers to ensure accurate execution and implement quality checks at every stage of the production process.
  • Work with the account team on audience targeting, test strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements.
  • Anticipate needs and take initiative with excellent follow-through on tasks and deadlines.
  • Negotiate and manage conflict to create win-win solutions to challenges and issues.
  • Manage multiple large programs simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5+ years of related project management experience.
  • Experience in the marketing industry, particularly in Direct Mail, Email, and/or Digital Marketing.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business requirements from clients.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
