About the position

Futurety is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead and manage multiple data analytics projects from inception to completion, developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. You will coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring resource availability and allocation. Additionally, you will manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques, measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and report and escalate to management as needed. Performing risk management to minimize project risks will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members is crucial, as is conducting project post-mortems and creating recommendations for future improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple data analytics projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.

• Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Azure, BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo).
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
